After being labeled *The Guru of New* by a particularly poetic reporter during my AOL Greenhouse phase circa 1995, I finally decided to embrace the concept.

The next new thing has always been my thing.

From the droolworthy to the duds to downright dreck, I've helped divine, design or refine thousands of new products, sites and services, many of them your everyday items now stashed in your canvas "I AM NOT PLASTIC" grocery bag.

My ad agency adventures began with a copywriting job at McCann-Erickson, then continued at Ogilvy in Chicago and New York, where I specialized in products for women. Later, launching my own new products business, I worked with companies like Chanel, Revlon, Colgate, Clairol, Alberto Culver, P&G, Gillette and more, writing concepts, ads, taglines, you-name-it.

I discovered 'the Internets' early via MIT Media Labs back in the late 80's, then became an early Partner in AOL's infamous Greenhouse Incubator.

Since then have been privileged to work with clients ranging from start-ups to global giants, pioneering in the use of social media and tech tools, and most recently, re-thinking research, strategy and product development from a greener perspective.
