Guyon Morée’s Summary

Python is my programming language of choice. I'm using it for a couple of years now and though I haven't had the pleasure to use it in a professional environment yet, it has taught me more about computer programming than anything else.

I've worked for several years at Brady PLC (formerly known as TradeSoft bv.), mainly as a software developer. Because of the initial small size of the company I have been involved in almost every aspect of day to day business like support, training and testing. Brady PLC builds software for the Commodity Trading business, especially metal trading. The main skills attained at this position are: PowerBuilder programming, Oracle development & administration and team-based development.

I'm currently very interested in web-based applications and have writen some in the past using PHP, ASP and Python. Currently I'm also exploring the wonderful world of functional programming using LISP.
