A young and dynamic woman of Pakistan origin with a strong interest in political systems and advocacy. This interest has enabled her to work with a number of leading organizations .She has the distinction of leading a national political advocacy organization of Pakistan in addition to designing a number of political advocacy campaigns and has also penned a report documenting the experience of women parliamentarians titled, `` Women Parliamentarians: Swimming against the tide” as well as an impetus report on the need for reforms in the Election Commission of the country titled `` Conducting elections for truly public representatives” as well as another report titled `Power to the grassroots or grass without roots?” , ``Revisiting Reservations” and ``Re-examining Federalism in Pakistan” . She writes regularly for the opinion pages of leading Pakistani English newspapers and political magazines besides having hosted a tv show on international politics. In the US has consulted for a number of leading organizations like the International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES)

The individualland is a space where the world’s largest minority, the individual is considered as the most important. It is a liberal space that views from the prism of political, economic and cultural liberalism paradigm.
We have been working since 2005 as an active non –partisan political analyst group. Launched on August 11 2005 formally, it took it's inspiration from the secular speech of Mohammad Ali Jinnah to the First Constituent Assembly in 1947.
Individualland has three main components i.e. advocacy , consulting and training. The advocacy is done through our blog (www.individualland.com/blog) , presently consulting is being done for the Open Society Institute and Commonwealth to name a few. The Friedrich Naumann Foundation is a German political Foundation working in Pakistan since the 1980s. It primarily works through non- profit organizations who are concentrating on human rights and civic education. The Project Coordinator is responsible for supervising the work of the partners and also designing capacity building programs for them.

I was the Lead consultant for North West Frontier Province (NWFP) and Balochistan in a Pakistan-wide consultation. This process lasted four months, from March to June 2007, and feeds into the ADB’s five -year Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) for Pakistan, 2007-2011.
