    When both Vincent and I arrived, company only had 3 staff and had more than 70% of its turnover from one main client. After 18 months, the company had
    - doubled its number of properties using the CRS
    - increased its turnover by 250%
    - signed real business partnerships with many distribution actors: PEGS, Booking, Orbitz...
    - developped real 2-ways connectivity with many distribution actors
    - Venture Capital for 1.5 M€ from SIPAREX in March 2006

    After VC entry, we sold our shares and left the company for new challenges

    Ratestogo.com, a last minute hotel reservation website, had been launched in Australia and NZ in May 2002 and was targetting to enter the European market. At that time, its model was to collect full payment from guest at time of booking.

    After we changed RTG's business model (10% online payment only, ie RTG's commission), we launched RTG in France as primary European country and got 450 independent hotels in less than 6 months, an average 1 room / hotel / day after 4 months only. Together with Global Marketing Mgr at RTG, we worked in right direction, ie more product to attract more customers and more customers to fill more hotel rooms... After 6 months, RTG had become THE online distributor that every French/Belgium hotel was willing to work with. As from then, the funniest part - the exploration part - of the challenge had gone and leaving RTG was an evidence.

    As from Spring 2003, other European countries offices opened.

    A few months later, Orbitz/Cendant acquired Hotelclub.com and Ratestogo.com, both part of Flairview Travel
