In order to ease the workload I began automating the use of signal generators (Gigatronics) and Signal Analyzers (HP) using computer routines custom written by myself. This usually elimated 60-70% of the personnel previously needed to be dispatched to a sub in need of repairs.
I used these same techniques to automate several key bottlenecks in a modern aerospace component production facility. My first task was automating a nearly $1 million RF/Microwave Test Lab. Taking testing of parts down from 2 minutes each to under 7 seconds each. Archiving data led to less engineers needed to trace problems in production to their source. CD ROM replaced stacks of paper test results.
Next automated was the Environmental Test Lab and Engineering. After 3 years of work I decided to pursue automation on my own using the new abilites of the internet.

Palmdale Oil Inc. Bulk Fuel Distributor with 4 Facilities. http://www.centeron.net
Palmdale is currently implementing a new accounting system and network designed by G2 Partner and Co-Founder Robin Gomboy. This system will tie into a currently growing system of remote fuel probes installed into Palmdale Oil's clients fuel tanks.
Viewing the probes via and online interface, and soon via a Googlemaps mashup we're coding, allows Palmdale to dispatch more effectively and ensure critical clients never run dry.
Using off the shelf and custom hardware and software we will be integrating these probes with the accounting and inventory systems allowing a companywide dashboard for managers, sales and production to use.
Installed central datacenter adding a 1.5Mbps SDSL and $200,000 accounting application. G2 handles system uptime, maintenance and repair of all aspects of this network and system.
Installed GPS Fleet Vehicle Tracking system with Arc Logistics Route integration.

February 1996 — January 1999 (3 years)
Designed and implemented computer driven test procedures for validating mission critical aerospace electronic components. Completely automated the Electronic Test Lab and Environmental Test Lab using HPVEE and VBscript languages.
Completed several robotically driven test machines using air-driven pneumatics. Developed procedures for testing parts used on the following platforms:
1-F111 Bomber Radar Guidance Systems
2-Space Shuttle Flight Systems components
3-Aegis Cruiser Honeycomb Radar System
4-F22 Raptor Flight Systems
Created 3D models to train assemblers on proper procedures-Models used to train AMD/Intel engineers on component locking mechanisms.
Automated calibration of HP Network Vector Analyzers for testing of mission critical USN radar system components. Used to verify parts electrically for:
