1.5 years as the Managing Director of IT for Socialtext web 2.0 startup (the oldest wiki company). I do a bit of everything here but mainly run our internal NT Sysadmin and IT support department. I deal with budgetary planing and execution for the company on capital expenses. I also manage our IT equipment and service vendors.
Cisco Systems,
I worked for cisco for over 8 years. I was promoted repeatedly from Technical Lab Administrator, to Project Manger then I exited as a high grade Program Manager after four or so years of Program Management experience. Program managers at Cisco run Project teams and coordinate multiple cross function teams and deliverables. My main focus areas where on IT, Lab, training environment infrastructure development. I ran a cost effective delivery team and sat on many advisory and business councils.
Prior to Cisco I did a range of things related to Syadmin and Physical security for the private sector.
