I have been working in academia for many years and at many levels: instructor, staff, professor and student. I hope to use my years of experience and technology skills to help move Higher Education into Learning 2.0 and beyond.
Information technology usage in Higher Education, especially as it relates to social networking and workflow. Copyright law as it pertains to academia and libraries. The use of Web 2.0 in the classroom and in academic workflows.

As Head of Library IT, I am responsible for all digital information and technology within the library: from physical computers that the patrons and staff use, to the presentation of library resources on the Web, to management of proxy servers for protected resource access. I currently manage a staff of 4 (2 Faculty, 1 staff, 1 student).
