As Head of Avusa Media's iLab, I am responsible for overseeing and managing the company's first digital innovation unit which focuses on developing cutting-edge mobile & web applications for the South African internet.
In 2009, my team and I were involved in the successful launch of Times LIVE, the re-branded and re-designed digital home of The Times and the Sunday Times – having further re-developed Times LIVE Mobile, Times LIVE Multimedia, and Times LIVE Blogs.
Previously I was the New Media Specialist at Avusa Media's iLab, working with a dynamic team, implementing, conceptualizing and managing commercial online and mobile products.
In 2007 I was part of developing and implementing the first, and largest, daily news multimedia portal in South Africa in conjunction to The Times newspaper. Direct experience in multimedia production, planning, development, management.
