Former outreach coordinator for a land trust in southern Milwaukee County via AmeriCorps. Worked on networking local leaders, businesses, and neighborhoods together to get several tasks accomplished. Primary of these tasks was the promotion and continued conservation of the Franklin Savanna State Natural Area and its surrounding parcels with the help of Milwaukee County Parks.
Former commissioner for the City of Franklin. I served on its Environmental Commission and was Vice Chairman for 10 months. When I stepped down a month later I was Acting Chairman of the commission. The Environmental Commission's primary responsibilities were to run the city's annual Arbor Day event, as well as to oversee the city's recycling contract. The commission also reviewed several projects with regards to their natural resource plans and potential exception.
