Greg J. Smith’s Summary

Freelance designer specializing in print, web and presence. I am interested in providing individuals and organizations with modular, expandable frameworks for commerce, archiving and self-publication. Right now I'm working on nuts and bolts design projects with aspirations to move towards more multidisciplinary information architecture in the future. I also offer consulting services for a variety of media and design companies.

In addition to design I am active as a media, arts and technology writer. I recently had a chapter on information visualization published in the Handbook of Research on Computational Arts and Creative Informatics. I am also a contributor to Rhizome and write regularly at Serial Consign, my blog on digital culture and information design.
