MedPlasma LLC is a corporation organized to develop, license and market medical devices in the field of tissue, organ, wound and equipment sterilization. The company has a newly patented process that uses low energy, electric plasma at ambient temperatures to create an extremely effective method of killing all bacteria and virus on contact.
The growing resistance of many bacteria and viruses to typical sterilization methods has spawned a world wide effort to develop new methodologies and materials for the elimination of those agents that can cause contagious, debilitating and sometimes deadly diseases. Rather than continue on the path of combating these problems with a new chemical formula or antibacterial agent, MedPlasma has created a totally effective device that does not allow for any resistance to develop.
