Co-Founder & Chief Technical Geek at Orange Peel Media
Vancouver, Canada Area
I am a passionate geek who is obsessed with social media, web startups, user experience design and web development. In the past I've been called the “Chef Ramsay of user experience” which of course, I took as a complement.
I am the Co-founder and Chief Technical Geek of the design community ScrnShots.com and its parent company Orange Peel Media Ltd.
Before starting ScrnShots.com, I was a User Experience Designer and Information Architect at Analytic Design Group and Blast Radius doing work for large international brands such as Research In Motion, Hitachi, Jenny Craig and Electronic Arts as well as a few small bootstrapped startups.
I also love public speaking. I've have given multiple presentations to the Vancouver User Experience Group on the topics of user experience and usability and have been a guest-lecturer at the Capilano College’s School of Interactive Design in 2007.
I am a graduate of the Interactive Design faculty at Capilano College specializing in Information Architecture as well as the Design Essentials program at the Emily Carr Institue of Art + Design and the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
In my spare time you may see me strumming my guitar at the beach, riding my bike for extended periods of time or hitting the local slopes on my snowboard.
