Greg Berry’s Summary

In 2009, I am increasing the flow of angel and venture capital to all entrepreneurs, focusing on progressive, sustainable and social entrepreneurs. One project is the translation of global sustainability metrics into practical indicators for investors and entrepreneurs. nuance is amplifying the impact of campaigns with nuPOLIS and AWhere, and is building a new partnership with Flaik.

In 2008, I contributed to the development of Business Catapult, a new service for the angel investing and entrepreneurial community. nuance built, deployed and maintained a digital media campaign for AWhere, a transformative IT company in location intelligence. The nuance network researched and designed the strategy for Digaai, an online social network for Brazilian expatriates; designed and built nuPOLIS, a site for scalable social innovation (thinking needed for our national challenges); advised health thought leaders on how social media grows the impact of integral health; and launched a sustainability Salon.

In 2005-2007, I developed conferences of thought leader communities around Millennium Development Goals on global health and agriculture, working with leading Foundations in those fields. I advised young Arab leaders, engaging a shifting global culture and global ICT leaders focused on global challenges.

I have launched eight new media businesses either by myself or as part of a founding team, and led AOL's Digital City Denver creative unit during a transition and integration into the pre-Time Warner AOL. I have been integral to launching a dozen new media products, most of which became leaders in their respective niches.

For 20 years, my personal practice has focused on building COMMUNITIES OF ACTION that not only learn (Fifth Discipline-style), but create tangible change. Although I have emphasized digital media, I also spent three years working on elite conferences on several continents, gaining a different perspective on how communities accomplish goals.
