As webmaster at Iowa State's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, I am responsible for the design and development of the College web presence, as well as providing support to a number of departments within the College. I also manage MySQL databases, and develop web applications in PHP. I am also responsible for five video monitors across campus that provide updates for news and events to faculty, staff and students. I also shoot and edit short video clips for the web, documenting College events.

I have developed a new look and feel for both the main College website, as well as the student recruitment website. I have also developed a "Joomla!" based CMS (Content Management System) solution to allow departments without full time web help to begin to manage their own web presence and updates, all based on design templates that are based on my original College web design.

In addition to providing a new look to the College, I refined the organization of a large amount of content into something that is now manageable thanks to a consistent menu system.

I also introduced the College to the world of social media by developing a presence on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. I share responsibilities for updating social media content with the college communications team. Four teammates actively develop design, video, and news content to be published to these social sites.

I worked with a diverse team of video, design, and interactive media experts on a wide range of projects. I designed websites, interactive kiosk interfaces, and motion graphics for video. I also created flash animations and applications, for a range of clients.
