Graham Davies’s Summary
I began my career as a teacher of German and French in secondary education. I moved into higher education in 1971, teaching German at degree level. I first became interested in in Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) in 1976 and I have worked mainly in this field ever since. I retired from full-time teaching at Thames Valley University in 1993, but I continued to work for Thames Valley University as a consultant, managing EU-funded projects, until 2001. I now have the status of Emeritus Professor and I contine to work as a self-employed free-lancer. See my personal wiki page for further information:

It was used both for teaching and self-study, covering a wide range of languages, including French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, ESOL and Chinese. The centre closed at the end of the 1990s due to poor student recruitment.
