London, United Kingdom
I have extensive experience of working in business development and sales. My specialist sectors are online marketing, ecommerce implementation and website design and development. This has given me knowledge in all aspects of digital marketing including SEO, PPC, affiliate marketing, email marketing, ecommerce, usability, ROI and social media.
It is imperative that I have a comprehensive understanding of all in the digital arena and keep myself up-to-date with an developments, which entails a lot of research (and very long hours!).
I am a confident self-starter who likes to be in the thick-of it, which is why I am in business development. I also blog in my spare time, so take time to check some of my work out.

I am based in Equator's London office as the business development manager.
My goal is to provide a defined strategy for our clients that incorporates all or some of the above disciplines to maximise their ROI. I work closely with our clients to clarify goals and build ownership across the team so that we are always improving current performance.
Being in business development, it is my duty to help steer Equator in the appropriate direction. I take a very keen interest in shaping and branding our agency in the correct way to existing/prospective clients and industry peers.

I decided that I would gain some additional qualifications in a subject matter that always fascinated me. I have always had a thirst for engineering and mathematics, so thought that a part-time course would be perfect.
It was a challenge whilst working full-time, but I managed to get my head down and work, study and play. My thirst for learning more about engineering was quenched and I got to dip my toe back into some proper mathematics again.

I was presented with an endeavour award in Primary 2 (when I was 6 years old) for friendliness and helpfulness.
In secondary school, I had a short story called "The Murderer's Downfall" published in a newspaper and won another endeavour award for friendliness.
Whilst at Centrica, I won an two all expenses weekend trips for two due to being top salesman - to Dublin and Barcelona.
I also won the 100m at the Tobermory Games on The Isle of Mull. On the ferry journey to Mull I met Geoff Capes and I was very scared - I was 5 years old.
