He is a Member, by examination, of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a certified mediator.
He has lectured on many intellectual property and antitrust matters to national audiences sponsored by the American Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Practicing Law Institute, LSI, LEI, the State Bar of Texas, and the Houston Intellectual Property Law Association. He has also been a repeated guest lecturer in the Rice University MBA program on intellectual property strategy from the business perspective.
