Miguel Ángel López Trujillo’s Summary
I was born in Madrid in 1971, and have lived, researched and studied in Spain, United States, Britain and France.
Since 1988, I have explored information and knowledge in multiple environments. I have created and connected products and services based on information for businesses and institutions such as, the Eroski Group or Texas State University.
At present, I work in Orkestra - Basque Institute of Competitiveness (Deusto Foundation) as the director of the high-growth business accelerator program Crecer+. I also work in the Deusto Business School as a business plan tutor in their Executive MBA.
Until February 2009 I worked as a business creation consultant and responsible of "Spin-OTRI" department of the Technical Secretariat of RedOTRI, university offices of technology and knowledge transfer network.
Apart from my work I have an entrepreneurial project: "Google Humano" (consulting and information products for companies). I have also created the Histania Cultural Consultants, which provides cultural consulting services.
I also have professional and commercial experience in other sectors such as Internet marketing, direct marketing, and market research, I have been a university professor in Spain and the United States, and written two books and many magazine articles and blogs posts.
Regarding my studies I have 4 university degrees: I hold an MBA, a European PhD in History, a Master of Arts from Texas State University, and a BA in Geography and History.
I also have time to enjoy some hobbies! I love travelling the world, I go to the gym twice a week, I run my bike every now and then, I enjoy reading, watching good movies, or I just enjoy life with my wonderful wife.
