I have been racing for 9 years, I started racing at 7 years old. I'm currently driving a Limited Late Model in the Goodyear Challenge Series in the sunny state of Florida.
I have been racing a Limited Late Model at New Smyrna Speedway for two years now. In my first year I was awarded Rookie of the Year honors. Then, last year I just barly missed winning the championship finishing up the season 2nd in points.
As for my education, I'm dual enrolled in high school and college taking night classes in the Welding Technology Program at Daytona Beach Community College while attending high school during the day.
At Seabreeze High School here in Daytona Beach I am enrolled in an accelerated graduation program where I can graduate from High School in just 3 years. As a freshman I completed all the basic required courses. Then in my second year I completed one year of high school each semester.
Next year I will early enroll in college with my college credit counting toward both my college degree and my senior year of high school.
In May of 2009 I will graduate from both High School and Junior College with a full 4 year high school diploma and a certificate in Welding Technology and I will have most of the course work completed for my AAS degree in Industrial Management Technology.
So, while my friends are just graduating from High School, I'll already have a college degree! Then, I plan to keep racing as a profession or a hobby while I work in some form of motorsports fabrication and manufacturing.
Driving fast, working hard, welding, fabrication, working on race cars. Public speaking and promoting organization through my racing and motorsports career.
