Gijs Nijholt’s Summary
I've worked as a programmer with several small to medium sized companies in the Internet industry. My skills range from actual programming to higher level interaction design, information architecture, and conceptual design such as moodboards, mashups and wireframes.
Educated at the Utrecht School of the Arts.
Graduated as Master of Arts in 2005 with an exegesis consisting of a thesis and a project. The thesis was about the then-current state and the future of online citizen reporters. The project, codenamed 'Yournal', was a proof-of-concept to accompany the thesis. It was a mix of digg.com, newsvine.com and nytimes.com.
