Glenn Rubenstein is the creator of REDEARTH88, an original & independent online video series. Launched in the summer of 2007, its most recent run of videos has received over a million views.
Making use of the medium, the series is told mostly through its main character's first-person video blogs. It also includes an interactive component through its associated Alternate Reality Game (ARG),
Prior to REDEARTH88, Glenn Rubenstein created the interactive video series OpAphid, and was a writer & director for the online video series Lonelygirl15.

Glenn was the front-man, main songwriter, and manager. The band was one of the first to find success through the MP3 format, due to its grass-roots approach toward online marketing efforts. This led to a spot on the USA Network TV series Farmclub, appearing on a live bill with Dr. Dre, Eminem, & 98 Degrees. In 2000, the band was also chosen as the winner of Garageband.com's $250,000 contest for a demo deal.

Lonelygirl15 is one of the most popular shows on the internet.
Glenn Rubenstein was contacted by the creators of LonelyGirl15, who were fans of his original series, OpAphid, and wanted to collaborate on a crossover between the two.
This quickly led to Rubenstein writing scripts and storylines for LonelyGirl15, as well as creating interactive elements for the series, which had previously only existed as a straightforward narrative.
Soon he was also writing, directing, editing, and producing videos for LonelyGirl15 and his role expanded to that of series Story Editor.
In that capacity, he was responsible for creating new characters and story arcs, allowing him to further develop the format of an interactive video series and expand upon his earlier innovation with OpAphid.
Memorable Lonelygirl15 videos written and directed by Glenn Rubenstein include "The Human Ransom," "Miss Me?" and "Interrogation 101."

Not only did Rubenstein create the characters of OpAphid, Tachyon, and 10033, but he also wrote, produced, directed, edited, and composed the original music for all of the series videos, and was responsible for all of the series visual FX.
Additionally, he designed all of its elaborate puzzles and means of audience interaction, including a half-dozen real-world "dead drops," where fans were able to participate in the story by traveling to different physical locations and recovering packages or other items left by the characters.
