He is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta's multimedia/web design program with over 10 years of professional experience. Kofi has worked as a designer, manager and consultant providing creative and marketing solutions for companies such as Mercedes-Benz, Grey Advertising, IBM, Ogilvy, Newsweek, Oscar de la Renta, Dressbarn Inc., and Christian Dior.
A recognized thought leader in communications strategies and design innovation, Kofi frequently works with clients and partners to plan, create, and market ground-breaking products.
He has co-authored two books on marketing and design trends and writes the popular African business and culture trends blog, Annansi Chronicles. His work has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, BusinessWeek, Reuters, FastCompany.com PSFK.com, i-D Magazine, VH1, and BET. Kofi is a frequent speaker on the topics of marketing, design, technology, branding, and social innovation. He has presented at the Smithsonian Museum, Google (Mountainview, CA), and the South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Conference among others and has also been invited to attend the United Nation's World Urban Forum in Nanjing, China.
A past member of the board of directors for the African Film Commission , Kofi has lent his creative expertise to help strengthen the relationship between governmental and private film organizations in the USA and Africa.
