Enrico Giovannini’s Summary

In my activity as Cinema and Media Engineering student at the Politecnico di Torino I’ve learned most of all a method. Starting from the problem solving by learning, passing through the problem solving by doing, typical of the classic engineering, my degree course shows me a new way: the problem solving by linking. I learned to link different problems, combining technical knowledges and the languages of Digital & Communication Technologies, proper of post-production, with cultural, aesthetic and artistic ones, proper of pre-production activities. This curriculum is giving me the skills to work in planning, design, production, managing and maintenance of communication systems.

The acquired skills give me the possibility to establish and maintain the communication between different departments through the ability of understanding and talking different languages whose integration leads to the realization of the product, and to choose a personal field of application. Talking about myself I've chosen the field of production as a project manager.

In order to be always up to date with my different interests I normally use the Web as a life-streaming system, reading news and blogs through my feed-reader, sharing my contents on different social networks and taking part in the global discussions. I’m a Web enthusiast and I like to explore in how many ways our behaviors are changing linking people in the world.

I also have experience as a radio speaker, first at the Politecnico di Torino official web-radio and now in a local radio in Turin. I can’t imagine my future without my radio program and I’m hoping for a chance in a national network.
