The programming process demands painstaking coordination with the administrators. During this colossal process the Program Chair uses the HSST computer network to create the Master Schedule. The Program Chair is authorized and trained to command the HSST Client. This work station is used to create, modify and map the class codes. A software application, Scheduling Engine, is evoked to merge the course-requests data with the course-sections data. This application generates the class schedules for the students. In addition, the client node is essential in the Electronic Grade Gathering operation. This operation, EGG, empowers teachers to email their grades in a paperless fashion. Accordingly, this application conveys vast savings to our school system and we conserve the environment in the process. These are some of the attributes that the Program Chair brings to bear during the programming process.
