Gia Lyons’s Summary
I have been developing, providing consulting services for, or selling collaborative solutions since 1996. After eight years with IBM, I joined Jive Software June 2008. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Tulsa.
Currently at Jive Software, I enjoy crafting custom-fit initial rollout experiences of Jive Social Business Software for my customers. Social software only works if your organizational culture and politics allow it.
Previously at IBM, I served as the Lotus Americas Social Software Evangelist, and as a Lotus brand IT Specialist (systems engineer) for large accounts in the Twin Cities, MN, Milwaukee, WI, and Chicago, IL. This included WebSphere Portal and its attending components, as well as all Lotus branded software.
Before that, I was a collaborative application developer and instructor at IBM business partners.
