I write plain English that anyone can understand, as long as they speak English. Although I am originally from England, I write and speak American perfectly.
I'm a ghostwriter, business copywriter, and communications consultant. I have a varied business background in sales, public speaking, marketing, technology, and creativity.
I continue to moderate a long-term face-to-face discussion group which has taught me the pragmatic value of Socratic questioning and critical thinking. For me, there is a fine line between consulting and coaching. But my role, whether writing or coaching, is to wrestle clarity from chaos for my business clients.
I've learned that clear communication comes from constant writing, reading widely, asking the right questions, listening to the answers, a love of the language, and the use of nouns and verbs.
I also write humor, which inevitably seeps into my client relationships.
