The Jakarta Post is a leading English-language daily newspaper in Indonesia. As a reporter, I learned to gather news and write articles in English. I spent my first six weeks of internship at the National desk, where I wrote topics on politics, law, education, health and so on. In the City desk, I wrote articles with topics ranging from culture, community to public spaces. I wrote 17 articles during my term. My internship with The Jakarta Post taught me a lot about news searching and journalism and gave me the opportunity to highly improve my writing skill.
