Photo Editor and Photographer at the Daily Tribune
Columbia, Missouri Area
Newspaper photo editor for the Columbia Daily Tribune where I work for four staff photojournalists and two editorial image technicians. Prior to my work here at The Tribune I was a staff photojournalist for the Grand Island Independent for eight years. I worked though my college education at the Lincoln Journal Star where I started as a lab technician, then summer intern and finally as a part-time staff photojournalist. Prior to photojournalism I worked in visual communications for Union College's public relations department where I photographed events and advertising as well as shot and edited video.
Other jobs I have had and liked, but was happy to be done with were farm hand on a dairy, boiler room attendant and deckhand on a commercial fishing boat in Bristol Bay Alaska. Ok, I actually liked that last one despite the long hours and stinky fish.
Photography, Photo Editing, Digital Imaging, Photoshop, HTML, Applescript, Photo Mechanic, BluMunKee (yes really).
I also have different levels of experience with using Content Management Systems such as Wordpress, Moveable Type, Nucleus and Greymatter.
