Featured panelist with Kathie Bergquist, Karen Lee Osborne, Anne Laughlin, and Samuel Park at the AWP 2009 Conference in Chicago Illinois held on February 13th, 2009. The panel, "Windy City Queer: Writing Out from the Midwest" featured an examination of regional writing in Chicago and the Midwest. Delivered a portion of my memoir-in-progress on growing up in a closed adoption in rural Illinois.

Conducted a six-week Spring 2009 word and image workshop with artist Mary Russell and select RMU Institute of Art and Design students to create "The Tea Leaf Retreat" and "Green Eye Journal" through the Cultural Enrichment Program.

Exclusive distribution for the poetry videos, "The Book of Green" and "Dance of the Electric Moccasins" now managed through QUAT Media in Toronto, Canada.

"The Book of Green" screened in Buenos Aires, Argentina at the Third Annual International Festival of Video Poetry, November 14th, 2008 and in Marseille, France at the "Les Instants Video Numeriques et Poetiques Festival" on November 26th, 2008.
