Gerardo Morales-Hierro. Engineer, Master of Science in Management of Technology. During the last 6 years, Gerardo has been committed to the promotion of global technology business from the Canary Islands. Back in 2001, he joined the University Foundation of Las Palmas where he designed and led the first edition of "Taller de Dinamizadores®", the university entrepreneurship program and other projects from his position as Director of Tech-Transfer of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He later moved to Texas where he opened the Canary Islands Office in San Antonio, acting as its director until 2007. He is co-founder of the Silicon Valley foundation latipnet.org, he has designed and managed canary-tech.org and three International Investment Forums in High Tech Businesses, held in San Francisco (May'06) and the Canary Islands (Nov'06 and Jul´08). From May'07 he co-directed one of the biggest real state groups of Lanzarote until May´08, when he begin his full time dedication as director partner to Inis Consulting www.inis.es . Among other projects he now leading the start-up of the Canary Islands first VC focused in early stage technology start-ups.
