Gérard was the founder of G.A.P. International Inc. a North American based satellite broadcasting and television production company. After creating G.A.P., Gérard expanded that business into a global satellite television network covering North and South America, Europe and Asia. Along with those networks, Gérard also provided video content and programming, producing "live television productions" on location throughout Europe and North and South America and Asia. He has provided production and broadcast services for all the US broadcast networks and some in Europe including his own global satellite network "Gapsat".

Background in the Silicon Valley California: My Company's background in the silicon valley begins in 1995 with the start of video streaming, working directly with Sun Microsystems and GTS . My Company (G.A.P. International) provided the equipment and services that linked the internet pipeline from Europe's Backbone to Mae West in Cupertino. That link enabled Sun Microsystems to be able to provide all of the ground breaking internet video productions globally to provide the advances in video streaming world-wide that we all enjoy today. My company was a crucial part in many of these on going milestone projects with both GTS and Sun Microsystems thru to 2001.

In 2000 "G.A.P. International" provided 3Com with their global broadcasting satellite network "The 3Com Satellite Network." at that time included two 24/7 network feeds in 28 countries, on 5 continents and a domestic satellite network across the North America. In addition, on the first of many productions that I produced for 3Com, my company provided to 3Com with Live television production, crews, video and satellite services in every country world wide. I personally; produced and directed multiple crews simultaneously on three continents via multiple satellite feeds to provide a combined live single international television production called "The Planet Project". My company "G.A.P. ; then re-broadcast that combined program feed and fed that Globally through my company's international satellite network "GAPSAT" from there it was sent to my clients sites and news media world wide.
