    My first major project was a complete revamp of their existing hosting architecture to take it from a single LAN segment with multiple points of failure and migrate it to a state of the art data-centre, utilizing VLAN segmentation and Packet shaping to ensure efficient use of the network resources and increase security and resiliance, both from a network point off view and also right down to our power delivery architecture.

    This was done with little or no down time by utilizing VMWare copies of all live servers and phasing the migration in line with DNS propagation.

    Responsibilities include, Maximizing Network / infrastructure uptime and efficiency,Monitoring systems to ensure each platform is running at its best.

    I have also undertaken a significant amount of pre-sales activity whilst at Amaze this was mainly network design and application migration, but I have also been involved in the design of some of our hosted applications to ensure they FIT the required architecture.
