Despite difficult conditions, the three bloggers behind Humid City managed to produce a series of podcasts in the wake of the hurricane as they became "refugees".
The blog chronicles their decision to leave New Orleans and their struggle to plan for a future after the hurricane.

A social media and blogging specialist operating out of the New Orleans area, I emphasize the use of blogging for community empowerment and ethical non SPAM based promotional efforts. I have had the pleasure of working as a blogger for clients including WWOZ 90.7 fm, the CEO of Kaiser Permanente, the National Association of Broadcasters, Defend New Orleans and others.
