Georganna Hancock’s Summary
Currently writing, editing, ghostwriting, and providing guidance for those seeking to publish.
First published as a poet in 1964, most of my print bylines are in my former name, Georganna Simmons. AKA an active freelance writer and public relations consultant since 1970.
My writing, both creative and nonfiction, and my photography have won awards. Now I'm happy to help others find their ways to success with nit-picking, perfectionistic editing services and advice about publishing.
Another service provided is the Read and Critique for developing and finished manuscripts. My critiques point out strengths, weaknesses, and ways to improve writings as well as estimates of the saleability of the works.
When a synopsis has writers stumped or a query drives them crazy, an objective but interested consultation can solve the dilemmas and provide the final touches needed to spark the drive toward publication.
Formatting manuscripts for self-publishing is another service I offer, although I do not recommend this method of publishing for fiction writers.
