Geoffrey 'G-Man' Faivre-Malloy’s Summary
G-Man has been a software developer since 1988 and started developing installations in 1994. Initially trained at the school of hard knocks he received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the American Institute for Computer Sciences in 1998.
G-Man has written over 200 software installations in his career and upgraded over 150 others. Using his extensive experience, he’s designed, built and shipped rock-solid installations for Fortune 500 companies as well as shrink-wrapped consumer multimedia software.
A member of Toastmasters since 1998, he has received numerous speaking awards for Best Speaker and was a speaker at the Netcom Internet Seminar in 1997. G-Man placed second in the Southeast ACM Programming Competition in 1991 and 1992 and third in 1993.
He is a frequent contributor to software installation newsgroups and author of the popular Applications Packaging Engineer website. Writing on various topics, he has been published in Microsoft Interactive Developer and Boardwatch.
G-Man has developed installations using the InstallShield and Wise development platforms including; InstallShield DevStudio, InstallShield Developer 7 & 8, InstallShield Professional 5-6, Wise Package Studio Enterprise and InstallShield Admin Studio. His extensive development experience has included VBScript, DOS Batch, WinBatch, Visual Basic 1-6, Visual C++, VB.Net, C#, Perl, JavaScript, HTML and C. He has also worked with the Capability Maturity Model, IS9000, COM, ActiveX, ASP.Net, and Windows Installer.
Taking this knowledge and applying it to the SEO world quickly entered G-Man into the seedy underground of Black Hat Search Engine Optimization. He currently resides in Georgia and enjoys spamming the hell out of Google at any opportunity as well as learning and devising new spam techniques.
