Geoff Peterson is the Manager, Sourcing & Recruiting Operations for TriNet, a technology provider of cloud-based HR services (payroll, employee benefits, workers compensation) for 9,000+ small to medium sized businesses (including Fab, Mobivity, WhatsApp and Baked By Melissa).
Prior to TriNet, Geoff was the Managing Principal for General Lead, where he worked on contract recruiting and talent sourcing projects for several industry leading clients (including Microsoft, IBM, ADP, PwC, UnitedHealth Group and Disney). Geoff has full lifecycle recruiting management experience and has sourced for professionals in IT/IS, software, finance, accounting, sales, HR, healthcare and government in particular. He has managed high-volume recruiting and sourcing teams, and has implemented several sourcing programs and strategies for building active and passive candidate pipelines across search engines, social and business networks, career sites and internal databases. Geoff has also trained 1,000's of recruiters, sourcers and HR professionals on sourcing tools, strategies and social media.
Geoff Peterson is also the author of The Sourcer's Playbook, a visual guide for finding talent on the web, and a regular recruiting industry speaker for events including ERE, SHRM, Kennedy Information, Onrec, recruitDC and Minnesota Recruiters. In addition, Geoff created his own online event for the recruiting industry, Mobile Merger, aimed at content around mobile recruiting.
