Self-made web developer, very comfortable on a LAMP plateform, but will do the job with perl and python as well. Some *nix skills (as a backup for a busy sysadmin eg) and daily Linux usage as a workstation. I'll occasionaly write some ruby (on rails) to relax after a hard php day.
Continuously learning new things, new technologies (mainly OOP related), curious, geeky, with good adaptation capabilities, I need an environment which regularly procures me new technologic playgrounds and intellectual challenges, no matter the language (I'm not PHP centric), no matter the plateform (as long as it runs on some kind of *nix). As a matter of fact, I'm well versed in the mechanics of open-source (licensing issues, contributing, etc).
I'm now looking for opportunities to do full-time R&D on web technologies and/or develop ITIL based processes and methodologies around my main skills. I also wish to widen my professionnal experience to the international, especially in the areas of london (uk), montreal (ca), melbourne (au) or auckland (nz).
Very deep knowledge and understanding of PHP and how it works. Familiar with a large set of web technologies. Continuously expanding skillset, especially in the area of so-called "web2" technologies.
