Producer at Spitfire
New Zealand
I am a website producer and front-end developer based in Auckland, New Zealand.
I have more than ten years experience in the web and multimedia industries, working with a variety of businesses from digital agencies to publishing houses, recording studios and e-commerce start-ups to large government departments.
In my front-end development work I specialize in web standards-based xHTML, CSS and JavaScript development. I employ the latest development principles and standards and I am particularly interested in usability, user-interface design and quality assurance.
I also have some experience with server-side development using (to varying degrees) PHP, ColdFusion and ASP.NET. I have a great eye for design; proficiency in many desktop applications and extensive experience in audio and video production, including sound-for-picture and music.
I am a creative thinker with a technical mind. Six years as a music production engineer taught me to trust my instincts and be confident in my decision-making. I pride myself on being efficient and methodical and I have excellent written and verbal communications skills along with good analytical abilities.
