As a video engineer, I’m responsible for pre-tour design, configuration, set-up and repair of remote television production equipment on concert tours. Equipment includes cameras, video switchers, hard drive playback systems, projectors and power distribution. Responsible for having the system working for the show plus the ability to quickly solve problems that may arise before or even during the show. This job demands the ability to work with talent, production management, difficult physical environments and long hours.
Within video production, I have extensive experience with Avid and Final Cut Pro Editing, Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. I’ve also worked in various positions on location and studio production as a DP/videographer, grip, teleprompter operator and audio.
