Business Development Manager with Spectrum Personnel Ltd., in Motherwell, Lanarkshire.
Involved in new sales across each of our specialist divisions, Distribution, Manufacturing, Office and Engineering.
I am involved in various projects, for example, design and implementation of IT systems, website development, new marketing ventures like Spectrum on line TV, social network advertising, all media marketing including e-marketing campaigns.
I came into the recruitment industry in the early nineties with HMS as they were then. First role was recruitment consultant within the Construction division. I moved through various divisions as the years went on and the company changed to Initial Personnel. I was manager of two branches, Paisley then Glasgow before getting the Scottish Regional Manager role with Initial Engineering Personnel.
I have been with Spectrum Personnel for seven years and in that time have seen the business move from a mainly distribution sector focused business to a highly professional player within the Scottish region with a range of awards and accolades.
My goal is to see the company grasp technology and be at the forefront of our sector with regards to evolving on-line business tools and marketing strategies.
My areas of specialism gained over many years in the recruitment industry include negotion, client and supplier, interviewing, proposals and presentations, establishing brand and identity, IT system development, direct sales and marketing, new start business development
