Providing strategic advisory services to startup companies to help them achieve their initial funding event, secure initial customers and form strategic partnerships. I also work with emerging companies to identify opportunities for them to leverage into new areas, improve operations, form strategic partnerships, etc.
Also serving as Executive Director of HelpStartups, a non-profit group supporting entrepreneurs through it's web portal, HelpStartups.com. Have held executive management positions with start-up, mid-market and Fortune 100 companies. Over 20 years of experience in all Information Technology disciplines across a wide range of industries. Since the early 1990's I have been involved (founder/executive/adviser) with numerous start-up companies.
Over the last 10 years I have also been heavily engaged in marketing activities, with numerous startups, as a principal in Vevolution, an eMarketing firm, and as a top twenty expert in the MarketingProfs global marketing forum.
Currently heavily involved with medical device startups and am establishing a medical device accelertor in Pittsburgh.
An active Rotarian, I was recently honored by being named Rotarian of the Year by my club, and granted a Paul Harris Fellowship through Rotary International.

2. System allowing national field sales reps to take orders via hand-held devices and automatically feed them to distribution/manufacturing - went operational in 1985.
3. A complex middleware system linking together the disparate financial applications of 8 autonomous corporate divisions - went operational in 1988.
