Debt Collection Attorney at Nitzkin and Associates and Owner, Nitzkin and Associates
Greater Detroit Area
We focus our practice in three areas: commercial litigation, creditors' rights and consumer credit protection.
In our commercial litigation area, we pursue and defend businesses for breach of contract claims as well as other business torts.
Our creditors' rights or debt collection practice is unique in Michigan. Not only are we Michigan's most aggressive debt collection law firm, we have two full time certified public accountants on staff that review debtor information and discover how debtors hide their assets. No other collection law firm in Michigan has these resources in house. The accountants on staff have been invaluable helping us locate millions of dollars for our clients.
Our consumer credit protection practice area involves representing people who have been abused by collection agencies and other collectors. We also help consumers straighten out their credit reports when they have been the victims of identity theft, or when the erroneous information appears on their credit report and the credit reporting agencies refuse to take any action. We have filed a number of these lawsuits are have been successful in rectifying our clients' credit reports and in getting money damages for them as well.
Most of our work is done on a contingency basis. Thus, if we fail to produce results for our clients, we charge no fee.

We pursue businesses and individuals for debts of $5,000 and greater. Our greatest strength in helping our clients is our in house certified public accountants who are excellent at reading defendants' financial statements and locating hidden assets.
