Business manager and entrepreneur Gary J. Iskra has been involved with GI Capital Partners since 1995 as the strategic planning and investment capital firm’s Executive Consultant. At the Greensburg, Pennsylvania-based acquisition corporation, Mr. Gary Iskra develops strategies to annex large companies and uncover new business opportunities that will increase shareholder value, while reaching market demands and needs. In the past, Mr. Iskra has also led and invested in five different business acquisitions, launched five start ups, and sold two businesses, one of which he sold to a private individual in 2002 and the other, American Home Improvement Company, to Sears in 1999. Over the past decade with GI Capital Partners, Gary Iskra has raised more than 60 million dollars in funds for various businesses and created operating models for startup consumer direct marketing businesses.
Gary Iskra is the former Owner, CEO, and Chairman of American Home Improvement Company and The KoolVent Group Inc. In the early 90s, Gary Iskra combined KoolVent’s retail operations with Sears’ retail operations to expand American Home Improvement nationally, forming the largest home improvement company in the United States. With Gary Iskra as the driving force behind American Home Improvement Company, the corporation was bringing $140 million in annual revenue before Iskra sold his ownership interests to Sears.
