  As a Service Station manager I held full responsibility for the running of a number of a service stations throughout my time with the company.   I had extensive training in both health and safety aspects of running a business, and the legislation in all areas of the business which included particularly extensive and continual training in employment law.
  
  I had great success in developing sites within my control, growing revenue substantially year on year and increasing profitability beyond targets in a very competitive industry. In 2001 I earned a Manager of the Year award for helping develop my site from the fifth busiest (retail) to the highest earning site within a network of 400 plus sites.
