I provide consultancy services for organisations wishing to implement or improve their Business Process Analysis and Managament capabilities. I can work with groups or departments from the board level down, to define what their BP structure should look like, help facilitating sessions where processes are defined, and round off the whole service by providing consultancy on the implementation of those processes within the organisation.
Hailing from a background in Financial Systems application implementation, I also have extensive Financial and IT Audit experience, as well as being a key resource in the area of Business Process definition and implementation. Assignments in the past include managing a European team of Enterprise Architects, defining and implementing a European governance framework for process and architecture modifications, and I also have broad experience in all aspects of auditing, process management and project management.
Direct experience includes business process design through facilitation, business process software implementation and I have also presented at several regional and local business process conferences on this subject.
I am able to talk to all levels of the organisation from senior management right down to the shop floor workers

Mar 2007 - June 2007 & Jan 2008 - Mar 2008: The Research Council: Worked on Shared Services Centre restructuring with The Research Council - a government body that deals in providing grants to organisations for research purposes. Was responsible for providing process expertise at the start of the project when 8 different councils were being merged into 1 Shared Services Centre to centralise Finance, HR, IT, Procurement and Grants. Held facilitated sessions to determine current processes, helped define future state maps. Provided training to team members on the Metastorm/Provision toolset and provided support of this tool to the team.
June 2007 - October 2007 Provided pre-sales expertise for a BPM tool supplier to organisations in the public transport, financial services and offshore banking sectors.

This role was responsible for providing IT Business Process consultancy for the European Demand organisation within Eli Lilly & Co, Ltd. Primarily this revolved around managing the implementation of a Process modelling tool called Provision (Now Metastorm Provision) in which I gained a large amount of expertise and experience. At the time I left, the company was running 400 users globally of which I was responsible for the 1/3rd that were located outside the US including many European countries and japan.

In this role I was responsible for bringing the European affiliates up to speed with the four cornerstones of the architecture strategy - Technology architecture, Business Process Architecture, Solution Architecture and Data architecture. A two year secondment took me on a global mission to audit the Lilly sites. in two years I performed 13 financial/ system and Intellectual property audits at sites such as Cairo, Egypt: Manilla, Phillipines : Shanghai ,China :London, England :Paris, France: Frankfurt and Hamburg, Germany and Madrid, Spain.
Engagements varied from an audit of executive compliance to expense policy through to a major review of intellectual property standards. Also was involved in Manufacturing audits, ERP audits, and auditing the corporate jet usage!

Primarily brought on as a key resource to implement the JD Edwards suite of ERP programs I worked in a very small team (3) who pushed forward a European implementation of this in 2 years. We worked using a standardised chart of accounts and rolled this succesfully out to 13 countries
