My great passions in life beyond work include gardening, golf, dogs, and acoustic guitar. I am currently in the fifth year of gardening on a wonderful three acre farmette in Hamilton, Virginia. My primary interests and activities in the garden include perennials, plant propagation, Japanese maples, vegetables, meadow & wildflower gardening and hypertufa. Earlier in life I invested thousands of hours in teaching myself to play acoustic guitar. I reached a level of mediocrity suitable for play among friends, but not much more. I rarely play these days, but wish I made more time to indulge in music. My lifetime love of golf was strongly renewed in 2007. I won two events at Loudoun Golf & Country Club including our Club Match Play Tournament and the Tournament of Champions. I hope to maintain a high level of play in 2008.
