I am a designer, writer, photographer and a Drupal/web consultant. I keep a cool day job to do cool things on weekends - travel, photography, cooking, writing, etc.
I like to work on projects cutting across domains and I consider this as my biggest asset/strength. My passion for photography gives acute observational and perceptive insights which helps me do my work better. I believe in the following:

Quality isn't job one.
Being totally fucking amazing is job one. - Hugh Macleod

I have great interest in in cross-cultural social issues and emerging technologies. Being in the field working with real people is what I like best.
I solve problems and get things done.
For the technically inclined: Interaction design, New Media, UCD, usability, design research, highly evolved prototyping and programming skills, and the ability to derive a projects, multi-task... blah... blah... blah... blah... blah... blah... blah... blah... blah...

CultureCatch Entertainment, Inc. is an online video podcasting magazine which explores NY and SF culture by connecting with artists and other social icons. My work with CultureCatch is an ongoing thing which started from brand development, web site traffic growth, web site UI and advertising revenue. Developed brand strategy and statistics systems. In this initial phase I used LAMP technologies and developed the entire site in Drupal (http://drupal.org). Further, I also created a custom theme for the website using standards complaint CSS, javascript and Drupals phptemplate theming engine.
And now it is mostly strategic consulting, including business plan & sales strategy development. I also intend to write for CultureCatch at some time in future.
I took up this work and am still at it because I believe in the kind of work they are doing. Way to go CultureCatch!
