I was the first person to implement in Venezuela, mathematical Gas Flare calculations and Risk Engineering methods according to API standards (http://www.api.org) into software for state owned PDVSA http://www.pdvsa.com. Before this, risk engineering calculations took too much time and was done manually. The development of my algorithm reduced costs for state owned PDVSA at about 80%, directly related to implementation of flares within oil and gas refineries.
During the last 3 years, I provided world class Technical Support for Data and Document Capture - U.S. based Kofax Image Products (http://www.kofax.com). I solved more than 4800 cases and wrote many KB articles (over 500). I also served as a fundamental link between engineering and EMEA customers. Another of my activities was to debug source code for Kofax applications developed by certified resellers and also to provide professional services consultancy for development, configuration and troubleshooting issues. I got certifed with the Ascent Capture platform which is known as the "Operating System of Capture". My expertise and contributions to the Kofax EMEA Technical Support team are well known all over Europe and also across the pond.
Currently I am specializing in new technologies such as AJAX and Web 2.0 and how these technologies can be used to lower down the cost of custom software and web development.
