Director at Cautious Patient
Houston, Texas Area
I seem to bounce back and forth between the Internet Security field and the Health IT field. On the security side, I am a CISSP certified, Firewall and IDS enthusiast. I once spoke at BlackHat about Operating System Fingerprinting and I started out working for the Airforce Information Warfare Center in San Antonio.
Health IT is another passion. I have been a consistent advocate of Open Source GPL software in health environments and I have become very active in the various communities who produce software for clinics and hospitals. My family business has been medical software for longer than I have been alive, so I am very comfortable with health software.
