Fred Fosnacht’s Summary
Fred graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University with a degree in Theology. He was a member, then President of Alpha Sigma Nu, the national Jesuit Honor Society. His advanced education includes graduate studies at Loyola University at the Institute of Pastoral Studies, where he is currently studying in the Masters of Spirituality Program.
Fred began his career in lay ministry in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, as the Director of Adult Religious Education and Youth Ministry at St. James Catholic Church. He has served as first a member, then President, of the Joliet Diocesan Religious Education Board. He currently continues as a frequently requested speaker on youth and adult spiritual formation.
He started a distinguished business career with the international management and technology consulting company, Andersen Consulting (which later became Accenture).
Fred became a senior partner of Accenture, and was responsible for several of the firm’s largest clients, leading implementation teams on the largest and most technically complex system implementations performed by Accenture. He retired as the North American Wireless Industry lead, and the global lead of the Accenture’s wireless data practice.
He is currently the founder and CEO of Catholic Content, LLC, found on the Internet as MyCatholicVoice.com, a global initiative to "capture, organize and share the tradition of the church for the next millennium.” A major focus of this initiative is to use web 2.0 capabilities to connect the global church in ways not currently possible.
He is founder and board member of the "Fosnacht Family Charitable Foundation” a charitable foundation established to support giving in areas of faith development, social justice, and social and economic improvement.
